Christmas and New Years Opening, Ordering and Delivery Timings 2023

Please note the following opening, ordering and delivery times for EHD this Christmas:

The Sunbury, Amesbury and RGHQ warehouses and offices will be closed from 1.00pm on Friday 22nd December and will re-open on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th December, from 8am - 3pm for processing.

COLLECTIONS can be made from each warehouse on Thursday 28th December, for orders placed up to 12:00 noon on Wednesday 27th. As usual, please specify which warehouse you wish to collect from and who will be collecting.

Please instruct your couriers to come in to collect on Thursday 28th only.

We will be offering a delivery service into London on Friday 29th December (see below). All warehouses will then be closed on Monday January 1st and will reopen on Tuesday January 2nd, 2024 for a normal full day.

DELIVERIES OUT

LONDON

For deliveries into London before Christmas, the deadline for receipt of orders is 1.00pm (Sunbury) and 12 noon (RGHQ and Amesbury) on Wednesday 20th December. These will be delivered on Thursday 21st.

We will be offering a limited service into London on Friday 22nd December, for emergency orders, placed by 12.00 noon on Thursday 21st.

Orders required for delivery on Friday 29th December must be sent through on Wednesday 27th or by 10.00am on Thursday 28th. Please specify that delivery is required on the Friday, otherwise, it may be scheduled for Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

The 29th will be the only delivery day into London, between Christmas and the New Year.

Orders for delivery into London on Tuesday 2nd January must be sent through by 12.00 noon on Friday 29th December.

UK PALLETS

For pallet deliveries across the rest of the UK, the deadline for receipt of orders is 12.00 noon on Tuesday 19th December. These will be delivered on Thursday 21st. Orders can be placed on Wednesday 210thFor delivery on Thursday 21st but these will be charged as a next day service delivery and cannot be guaranteed. If the delivery requires a book-in, the deadline is Monday 18th.

The pallet network depots are mostly closed between Christmas and New Year so there will be no guaranteed deliveries made during these three days. However, if you do require a delivery in-between, please order by Thursday 21st December and we will do our best to arrange it.

Any orders received after these deadlines cannot be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas.

UK CASES

Please be aware that the outside couriers we use have a huge increase in workload during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Therefore, next day / 48 hour deliveries may not always be possible and we cannot guarantee them during this period. We advise you to place orders as early as possible for deliveries outside of London.
